UFC President Dana White Raves About The Thrill Of The Fight: ‘This Game Is Awesome’

The Ultimate Fighting Championship is set to put on another ESPN+ card this weekend and the mixed martial arts promotion’s President took time out of his busy schedule to give a shoutout to The Thrill of the Fight on Oculus Quest 2. On his Facebook page, Dana White praised the game for getting him back into boxing and recommends everyone take a look into adding it to their workout routine. He also stressed that he wasn’t paid to post this and that it’s a genuine recommendation rather than an advertisement.

“So, I’ve been lifting weights for a few years. I haven’t done any boxing,” said White on his Facebook page. “I don’t know if you know about Oculus … but there’s a game in here called The Thrill of the Fight. You go in there … and you fight against an opponent. I’m telling you right now, you do two-three rounds every day before you do your workout. I’m not talking about you young f—ing guys that are in shape and s—, but for the older guys like me that don’t do that anymore, no sparring, I don’t even hit mitts anymore. This video game is awesome. Oculus, the Thrill of the Fight. Check it out.”

Of course, VR Fitness Insider echoes White’s recommendation. The Thrill of the Fight won our Best VR Boxing Fitness Game of the Year in our 2020 awards and received a VRFI fit rating of 9.5 out of 10. It’s one of the best VR boxing games on the market and you can’t go wrong with picking it up. It’s on a variety of different headsets, so if you don’t own a Quest you can still check it out on Valve Index, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Windows Mixed Reality.

You can watch Dana White’s video recommendation on his Facebook page.
