Touch of Holiday Cheer Comes to VR Esports with Echo Arena Snowflake Cup

The coolest tournament in VR esports, the Echo Arena Snowflake Cup, will take place in a one-day event on December 16 for the Oceania region and a two-day event on December 19 and 20 for North American and European regions. The 4v4 community cup will have a unique team structure designed to encourage positive interaction that leaves no one out in the cold.

Since it can be polarizing to organize mixed region competitions on the internet, organizers have decided to help everyone chill by splitting the regions. The Snowflake Cup will feature North America, Europe, and Oceania with their own unique registration and playtimes.

Event registration opens today and players can sign up solo or in pairs of two. However, please note:

  • There are NO mixed regions for this cup.
  • Max of 2 players per team at sign-up so all teams should be incomplete at registration.

Event managers will put pairs together after the event sign-up deadline. Solo entrants will also be placed on teams at that point.

Format

Tournament format will be as follows:

  • 4v4
  • sign up solo or in pairs of 2
  • NA, EU, OCE regions
  • Players of all levels are invited to register.
  • Double elimination bracket
  • Closed comms or open comms. Your choice!
  • Teams are encouraged to choose names related to Snowflake Cup theme.
