This Week’s VR Game Roundup — We’ve Got Combat, FPS, & an Arcade LBE!

Witching Tower VR

Witching Tower VR is a single player adventure, puzzle, and combat game. Anna is the Queen of the Undead’s prisoner and has to escape and fight her way through an army of the living dead and other beasts. The Tower is where you’ll be solving puzzles and killing enemies.

Fitness Potential

Using Anna’s mind control on enemies will help you progress in the game, but it won’t up your step count. Use a blade to strike and block or take out the bow and arrow to turn baddies into pin cushions. This game is played seated, standing, and in room scale, so gameplay can be tackled by most anyone.

Developer/Publisher: Daily Magic Productions

If you want the September 2018 release you can play of Battle X go to the link and scroll down.

Fitness Potential

Arcade and LBE guests will get to play this FPS mil-sim and experience and practice their coordination with a virtual gun. With no recoil to hurt your arm, this game is still high-energy. Keep your arms up to shoot, and walk around and duck away from bullets in room scale, play standing, or while sitting for a light to mid-range workout.

Release Date: October 25, 2018
Compatible with: HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, with tracked controllers
Price: $19.99

Seeking Dawn: Free to Play Edition

Seeking Dawn was released in July 2018 and is getting a free to play edition for anyone that wants to demo it before buying. The sci-fi game is narrative-driven and has action and adventure fight scenes with aliens and boss fights. Play alone, in co-op, or multiplayer.

Fitness Potential

This is a free to play version of the game, so it might not be as long as the main game. It’s played standing and sitting, so the upper body will get mid to light activity with crafting as well as combat against leggy alien predators and undead enemies found throughout the game.

Developer/Publisher: Multiverse
Release Date: October 26, 2018
Compatible with: HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Windows Mixed Reality, with tracked controllers
Price: Free
