A Tale of Pirates: a Dummy Mutiny

Eye patches, open sea, and pirates having target shootouts and swashbuckling missions to go on. Hit target dummies (no gore!) and hit them as quickly as you can with as many headshots as you can muster. You are a pirate after all, you should know how to shoot a pistol well! This isn’t Sea of Thieves, so don’t expect a vast world with islands to loot.

Fitness Potential

Tale of Pirates: a Dummy Mutiny is a single player and first-person target shooter that’s better for your upper body and coordination than anything. You’ll be shooting chests and barrels so they don’t barrage you and cause you to take damage.

Developer/Publisher: Studio Clangore/Cranio Creations Digital

Release Date: May 23, 2018

Compatible with: HTC Vive, Windows Mixed Reality, with tracked controllers

Price: $9.74 to $12.99

This is a low-key multiplayer (up to 3) FPS game where the only thing getting blasted apart are numbers. If you love working out your mind like you keep your body fit, or just love crunching numbers or need to practice math, Number Hunt is for you. It is an early access game without violence or gore but is still entertaining.

Fitness Potential

Using the Pluzooka, Negative Charge, Divider, and the Double Barrel to shoot numbers and their answers is going to give your brain a good workout and your upper body a light to mid-range workout. Pretend to stuff your face with pizza, milkshakes, and ice cream and get achievements for doing it! Thank goodness you’ll be walking around in room scale, gotta burn off all that air pizza.

As an FPS and single player VR game, Wanted Killer VR has 4 heroes you can play as with each hero being equipped with specialized weapons and abilities to get familiar with. Fitness Potential

This is a fast-paced wave shooter that has lots of game modes to keep your upper body fighting and shooting and lower body crouching, sneaking, and maneuvering around in room scale. Wanted Killer VR can be played campaign-style, has survival mode if you want to get extra beast mode, and skill challenges that reward you with coins to keep you coming back for more. It isn’t bloody for an FPS game and has weapon progression which will keep you playing.
