How Alejandro Lost 25lbs Working Out at the Black Box VR Virtual Sport Training Center

Fitness transformations are nothing new to VR Fitness Insider. Over the years, we’ve seen hundreds of people reach their fitness goals using Virtual Reality as their fitness tool. I’m sure some of you reading this are already starting to say, “can people use VR to lose weight”? Well, Alejandro sure has, but he used a different type of VR fitness experience than we’ve regularly showcased on VRFI.

At an event in Boise Idaho, Alejandro won a 3-month pass to the Black Box VR Virtual-Sport Training Center. He didn’t know what to expect or what the experience would be like, but he always enjoyed playing video games as a kid, so he thought he would give it a try.

Alejandro says, “I’ve always struggled to stick to a fitness routine at various gyms in the past. I would set high goals for myself, but somehow they always slipped out of reach. Black Box VR helped me get addicted to working out, and I lost over 25lbs in 3 months and have never felt better.”

Watch how Alejandro reached his fitness goals with Black Box VR.

One of Alejandro’s favorite features of working out in Black Box VR is the companion mobile app. The Black Box VR app delivers in-game achievements and tracks all your progress like, how many reps and sets you did. How much weight you lifted. It trends all your workout data over time so you can view your progress.

“My body’s just changed. I just have never seen my body like this before. You know working out in the gym, you just kind of get tired of not seeing the results, and Black Box VR is like a cheat code.” – Alejandro

More About Black Box VR

Most workout programs are painfully boring. Black Box VR has created an exciting and addictive experience that blends gaming + serious fitness to get you in the best shape of your life.

The fitness experience is a competitive VR Esports Tower Defense style game where you compete in epic arena battles. The Black Box tracks every decision you make, how many reps you do, how much weight you’re lifting, and much more. Over a short amount of time, the AI learns your fitness levels and continues to push you, so you get more powerful in the game and stronger in real life.

Most VR Fitness games on the market are cardio-based. The Black Box VR fitness experience uses a strength training machine that delivers up to 130lbs per handle of resistance.

Each Black Box VR session is a 30-minute strength training HIIT style workout battle.

Right now, Black Box VR is available in select locations, but more are coming soon!

Black Box VR is one fitness revolution you will want to follow.
