Community Events Usher In Echo Arena VRML Pre-Season 1

As autumn fades into winter, there’s no reason for Echo VR fans to get the blues as cold weather approaches because there are an abundance of opportunities scheduled for the next several weeks, including the launch of VR Master League Echo Arena pre-season on November 4.

Earlier this month, VR Fitness Insider announced that Ready At Dawn’s popular zero-gravity game Echo Arena had joined the VR Master League, a community-driven platform designed from the ground up for VR esports competition.

Echo VR is an active community in the VR ecosystem. When the game launched in July 2017, developers actively engaged with players, helping them learn the basics of the game, encouraging them to participate in events, and listening to their feedback about game mechanics, etc. In this positive atmosphere, community leaders also began to find opportunities to welcome new players, establish community tournaments, and enhance growth. Many of the activities you’ll find in the following schedule are a result of continued efforts by Echo VR community members.

Monday, October 28 – Recruiting Day

VRML tournament organizers want to ensure that players have the information they need. The Echo Games Discord is a hub for training and events so all players are invited to join!

Tuesday, October 29 – Pick Up Night

Held each Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. EDT / 19:00 CET, Pick Up Nights are a great way to test your skills, meet other people, and ask questions. Join the Echo Games Discord server and meet the mentors in the voice channels. They will help you improve skills whether you want to play better in public or competitive matches.

Wednesday, October 30 – Apply for the Show Match

If you’d like to compete on Sunday, Nov. 3 against other teams from your region and be the first broadcasted team on the VRML Twitch channel, join the Echo Games Discord and react to this message in announcements on Wednesday. Two captains per region will be selected to choose their teams.

Thursday, October 31 – Mixed Scrims

This is a fantastic opportunity to meet others who are looking for a team. You’ll also play with experienced league players who can pass along advice for the upcoming competitions. Mixed scrimmage games are scheduled for Thursday at 9:00 p.m. EDT / 19:00 CET.

Friday, November 1 – Show Match Announcement

The community will find out which teams will be featured in Sunday’s first show match to introduce VRML Echo Arena Season 1.

Saturday, November 2 – Mixed Scrims

Another opportunity for mixed scrims will happen on Saturday at 9:00 p.m. EST / 19:00 CET.

Sunday, November 3 – Show Match

Tune in to Twitch at 4:00 p.m. EST / 21:00 CET for the first Echo Arena VRML Broadcast.

Monday, November 4 – Echo VR Boot Camps Resume

Echo VR Boot Camps happen in regularly scheduled sessions to help new players to master the basics and, if they wish, get ready to play on a team and participate in tournaments. New players are encouraged to take advantage of these fun, progressive training events.

Monday, November 4 – Echo Arena VRML Pre-Season Begins

Sunday, December 15 – Echo Arena VRML Season 1 Regional Finals

The VR Master League Echo Arena pre-season will begin on November 4 and last for six weeks. Regional finals between the top four teams will be held on December 15.

Additional Information

Teams can join the Echo Arena VRML inaugural season at any point during the pre-season, but if you want to be assigned matches in the first week of play, you must be assigned up by November 4 at noon EDT / 18:00 CET.
