Battlewake
A pirate’s life for me! A pirate’s life for VR! In the Survios game Battlewake, you become the captain of a pirate ship that must command his crew to battle other ships and monsters alike. You have access to magical abilities as well as traditional pirate weapons, and you can upgrade your ship. Challenge your friends online, or team up with them. If you’re a loner, you can also play in solo mode and play the 20-chapter story mode.
Fitness Potential
Battlewake is a large game with many components. You control the ship by using the tracked motion controllers on the steering wheel. You also use the controllers to raise up anchors and direct attacks. Because of the chaos unfolding around you, that means quite a bit of movement. It will get particularly intense when playing against another person who must do the exact same thing.

Hellsplit: Arena
Want to take your fantasy adventures indoors but stay just as violent? In Hellsplit: Arena, you engage in melee combat in a “dark fantasy” environment. Deep Type Games has created a combat system that works with a variety of blades, but you can also just punch your enemies in the jaw, too. By swinging your weapons, you can knock them off balance and deliver the finishing blow.
Fitness Potential
Hellsplit: Arena is all about swinging your arms to deliver fatal blows to fantasy enemies. You can also hold up a shield with your other arm in order to block incoming attacks, or dual-wield your weapons for increased effectiveness. Want to push an enemy off a ledge to their death instead of stabbing them? You can totally do that, too, but you’ll have to be quick about it. Other enemies are often very close.

Rhythm Mage
Coming to Early Access this week, Rhythm Mage combines elements of magic-wielding VR games with music games. At launch, there are 20 tracks to choose from, and you must be quick to launch creatures into the correct portals. You will also need to dodge the fire monsters you find or risk taking burn damage, and you have access to special additional powers on your wand.
Fitness Potential
You must use a wand in each hand to catch incoming monsters and then send them to the correct portal. This requires quick reflexes with both arms holding tracked motion controllers. Your movements will be choreographed to the music playing, so you can stay on pace. Things will get increasingly hectic and there are multiple difficult settings to choose from. You’ll have to be perfect in order to keep your combo going.

Don’t have a large body of water available but want to experience the joys of diving? In Deep Diving VR, you venture into the unknown and discover life and artifacts hidden deep below the service. Get up close to an adorable sea lion, upgrade your gear, and discover secrets you never thought possible. You’ll also have to keep an eye out for predators, including sharks.
Fitness Potential
When using the tracked motion controllers in Deep Diving VR, you make a swimming motion to move. As anyone who has ever been swimming knows, this can get tiring very quickly. When facing predators, you’ll also need to quickly aim a blaster in order to defend yourself. Minerals can be mined from rock using a pickaxe you swing with the controllers, as well.
